The United States of America is going to witness their first oil refinery unit, and this is going to be established by other than Indian based Reliance Industries and here’s a look into the same.

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced plans for a massive new oil refinery in the United States with backing from India’s energy giant Reliance Industries. The project, which Trump described as a “historic” investment, would mark the first new major oil refinery built in the U.S. in nearly 50 years.

According to the announcement, the refinery will be constructed at the Port of Brownsville in Brownsville, located in the state of Texas near the U.S. Mexico border. The facility is expected to be developed by a company called America First Refining with significant investment support from Reliance Industries.

Trump said the refinery project could be worth up to 300 billion dollars and described it as one of the largest energy investments in U.S. history. The plant is expected to process American light shale crude and could handle around 168000 barrels of oil per day once operational.

Officials claim the project could help strengthen domestic energy production, reduce the U.S. trade deficit and create thousands of jobs in South Texas. The refinery is also expected to produce billions of gallons of refined fuels for both domestic use and exports.

However, some industry analysts remain cautious about the plan. They note that the Gulf Coast already has significant refining capacity and question whether a new facility is economically necessary. If completed, the refinery would represent a major step in U.S. energy infrastructure and a significant collaboration between American energy companies and Reliance Industries.
