What agitated Revanth Reddy so much?
Revanth Reddy was delivering his speech. One fact appeared to be very deliberate and descriptive.
In an unexpected turn of events, Telangana Assembly almost entirely revolve around Pushpa today. On one hand, CM Revanth Reddy announced there will be no more special privileges to the film industry henceforth and on the other hand cinematography minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy announced he will not permit ticket hikes and benefit shows.
Revanth Reddy was delivering his speech. One fact appeared to be very deliberate and descriptive. He seemed agitated about the show of support from the film industry to Allu Arjun, the day he was released from Chanchalguda prison.
“Did Allu Arjun lose a leg or an eye? Why was the film industry so very concerned about him that they all queued up to meet him at his house after spending one night in jail? Why were they so enthusiastic about questioning and abusing the government and me, the chief minister?” Revanth Reddy questioned.
CM Revanth looked extremely agitated about the series of events that unfolded after Allu Arjun’s release. He specifically mentioned this passage of events in his speech today.
Notably, several film stars had visited Allu Arjun at his house the day he was released from jail. For nearly 12 hours straight, Allu Arjun was visited by tens of heroes and directors. Incidentally, there were several social media posts against CM Revanth on this matter as well.
This certainly did not go well with the chief minister and the same was observed in his fiery speech in Assembly today. The message appears to be very clear that Revanth Reddy is now determined to come cracking down on the film industry with all his might. This could mean tough going to the film industry in the days to follow.
