The Lok Sabha elections are very crucial for the grand old Congress party. The party won two consecutive elections and it is not ready to taste another defeat. Having realized that it cannot take on the BJP alone, it formed another alliance named INDIA. There are a few issues among the parties but their aim is to defeat the BJP.
Congress is busy campaigning and now it is said that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is on high demand. The party wants him to campaign in as many states as possible. His popularity rose highly after the Telangana elections.
The grand old party could not win the elections in the state since 2014. He was given the PCC Chief post when the party was dealing with a lot of troubles. When he was made the state chief, the seniors opposed this and openly expressed their dissatisfaction. But that did not stop Revanth Reddy.
He brought everyone under one roof and took the party to a big win. Congress locked horns with BRS and BJP and came to power. Revanth Reddy gave his heart and soul to the efforts and made sure that Congress gets the advantage.
Of late he has been targeting the BJP and Narendra Modi. When he appeared on the National Television he came down severely on the BJP. Taking a dig at the slogan of BJP winning 400 seats, Revanth Reddy said that BJP should win in Pakistan too for this.
As an example of his growing stature, Revanth Reddy was invited to campaign for Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad. In the campaign, Revanth Reddy urged the voters to vote for Rahul Gandhi and said that he would become the Prime Minister. Given the mileage Revanth Reddy gave, Congress might use his services nationwide.
