Revanth’s Questions On Gaddar Awards Answered Finally!
Speaking at an occasion the Chief Minister recalled that he made a proposal to replace Nandi awards with Gaddar awards.
It is known that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his dissatisfaction over the Tollywood industry not coming up with the proposals on the Gaddar Awards. Speaking at an occasion the Chief Minister recalled that he made a proposal to replace Nandi awards with Gaddar awards.
Now the Producers Council came up with a response. Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce said that it is thanking the Chief Minister for his interest in the development of the industry in the state. The body also thanked Sri Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on the occasion.
Talking about the suggestions for the Awards Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce and Telugu Film Producers’ Council said that a committee will be formed with the representatives. After consulting with the Telangana State TV & Film Development Corporation the suggestions would be made and they would be presented before the government.
This is a big development as far as the awards are concerned. The Telangana government proposed to change the Nandi Awards to Gaddar Awards to honor the poet. He urged the film personalities to come forward with the suggestions. Now two bodies said that they would come up with suggestions at the earliest.
“We, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce and Telugu Film Producers’ Council, will constitute a Committee consisting of Representatives from the Telugu Film Industry and formulate the required guidelines in consultation with the Telangana State TV & Film Development Corporation and present the same to the Hon’ble Chief Minister and hon’ble Cinematography Minister at the earliest,” the press release reads.
