Revanth Dials CBN: Can We Expect Friendly Ties Between AP,TS?

It would not be a wonder to say that the TDP is enjoying its memorable moments

It would not be a wonder to say that the TDP is enjoying its memorable moments. Like how a ball bounces when hit on the ground with force, the grand old party made a massive comeback. Chandrababu Naidu has been receiving a flood of wishes for the big win.

Besides wishes from every corner, Chandrababu is dubbed as a kingmaker now as he can decide who can form the government at the Centre with the MPs' support he has. This can be seen as one of the best comebacks one can see in politics.

Now a Chief Minister is said to have called Chandrababu Naidu to wish him. As per the media reports, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy called CBN to extend his wish. As Chandrababu Naidu is all set to take oath soon Revanth Reddy wished CBN. During the phone call, Revanth is said to have urged CBN to work together on addressing the issues between the states.

Even a decade after state bifurcation there are some pending issues between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We often see leaders from both states making provocative comments. When CBN was the CM between 2014 and 2019 there were some issues between the AP and TS governments. Despite the Jagan government and KCR government maintaining good ties the issues were resolved.

We have seen tense scenes at the Nagarjuna Sagar dam on the election day of the Telangana general elections. Police forces from both sides gathered in big numbers. Water-sharing issues are dubbed as a reason. Revanth Reddy who was the opposition leader earlier last year said that AP police taking control of the Dam is a testimony of KCR's failure. He even dubbed this as a possible stunt for political gains.

These incidents serve as an example of the problematic ties between the two states. Revanth Reddy reportedly calling CBN to wish him and calling for friendly ties between the two states can be seen as a positive sign in addressing the issues.

With this, a new hope started that we can see the two states having no issues and working together in addressing the demands. Let us wait and see how the two Chief Ministers would work on this.
