Why only Revanth Reddy is touring whole of Telangana?

Though there is spring in the Congress party’s feet and there is a definite anti-incumbency against the ruling BRS, the T Congress still appears to be disunited. Only Revanth Reddy is seen campaigning across the state and all other major leaders are conspicuous by their absence in the campaign trail.

Senior leaders like Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, Mallu Ravi, Bhatti Vikramarka, Jana Reddy and VH are not touring across the state. While VH has not been given the party ticket, the others are contesting from some constituency or the other. They are all confined to their constituency only.

Only Revanth is touring across the length and breadth of the state. The seniors are openly claiming that they would be in the reckoning for the CM’s post only if they win their assembly constituency. Hence, they claim they are focusing on their seats. Interestingly, even seniors are citing this as a reason for not touring across the state.

Another curious thing is that the Congress Party is yet to come out with its list of star campaigners for Telangana. Though the elections are barely 20 days away, the party has not finalized its list of star campaigners. Some leaders say that they are not evincing much interest as their names do not figure in the list.
