Indian captain Rohit Sharma and former skipper Virat Kohli are not named but brands. They have a massive popularity outside the country too. They are giants of the game and scared many bowlers. But a bowler who is an Engineer by profession scared the two and sent them back at last.

We are talking about Saurabh Netravalkar who is the rising star in the USA team. In an unexpected turn of events, the USA team made its way to the World Cup as the hosting nation. The team has been putting up an impressive show. Out of them, Saurabh is stealing the show.

The fast bowler did not get the ideal start in his first match in the World Cup against Canada. But it was the match against Pakistan that made him a hero. He defended the score in super over and took his side to a memorable win.

The world saw what he could do with the ball as he sent back Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. In the very first over he sent back Virat on a duck. Rohit Sharma lost his wicket for just 3 runs. The situation would have been different had the two were not out.

In the low-scoring match, the USA scared us and made us work hard till the end. It was the bowler who gave two early blows to the team by sending Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma back.

There is an interesting story here. Saurabh Netravalkar is a Mumbaikar who even played for the U19 World Cup. Later he moved to the US to pursue his higher studies. After studies, he became an Engineer. His hard work in the game did not go in vain as he is proving his capabilities.

The likes of KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Jaydev Unadkat, Harshal Patel, Sandeep Sharma, and others were his teammates in U19. He managed both studies and sports and went on to pursue higher studies and land in the US.
