As per the information an Indian family lives in the United States and did a Pooja. As the children in the family won't understand Telugu the family reportedly asked the Priest to tell the story in English and he narrated the story in English. The video is now doing rounds on social media.

The viral video shows a Priest reading the Vrata Katha in English instead of Telugu. As the youngsters were born and brought up there they could not read or understand Telugu properly. Seeing that the family reportedly asked the priest he said yes to this.

Sri Satyanarayana Pooja is a famous pooja that is performed on special occasions. After the pooja, the stories highlighting the Pooja are also read out. Usually, we hear the story in Telugu. However this time the story was told in English as the youngsters could understand.
