73-year-old Adds Highest Wealth In Calendar Year!

A few personalities in the business arena have created an image and stature that they often make it to the list of rich people not only in the country but also in Asia. Their legacy is such that whenever a discussion about rich people their names flash in our minds.

Up to a few years back, Reliance boss Mukesh Ambani used to be the richest personality in the country. But Gautam Adani rose to wealth suddenly. However, a 73-year-old lady surprised everyone by surpassing the two in terms of wealth.

OP Jindal Group chairperson Savitri Jindal surpassed every rich person in the country in terms of wealth amused in a calendar year. She added as much as $9.6 billion in the calendar year. As per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, her wealth is $25 billion, while she added $9.6 billion this year.

The OP Jindal Group is among the major steel companies in the country. The company was set up in 1952 by O. P. Jindal, a first-generation entrepreneur. Later the Group expanded its wings and entered areas like power and energy.

The OP Jindal Group enjoys a major share in JSW Infrastructure which runs the port. The JSW Cement which is also under the group might get listed as the group is in serious plans for this.

Talking about other people on the list Shiv Nadar of HCL($8 billion), DLF's KP Singh($7 billion), Kumar Mangalam Birla and Shapoor Mistry($6.3 billion), Mukesh Ambani($5.2 billion) are in the next respective places.

However, Reliance Boss Ambani held on to his position of richest Indian as his wealth stands at a whooping of $92.3 billion. Gianings of others did not impact Ambani or his rank.
