The alliances in Andhra Pradesh have a big space now. In what could be a move to change the fate, the Telugu Desam Party and Janasena joined hands for the elections. Political observers say that the Bharatiya Janata Party might also join the two parties as happened in 2014.

As the parties are coming together to form an alliance, the ruling YSRCP often taunts them, saying that the parties are joining hands with each other. We can see the party leaders, including Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy making intense comments on the alliance.

But things changed now and it's Jagan’s turn to face criticism on the alliance. Many might wonder how Jagan can be attacked as the YCP is going alone for the elections. But there is a big reason behind the attack aimed at the YSRCP.

It is known that YS Sharmila was appointed as the PCC chief recently. It's been just a few days since she assumed the office. But she is making sure that her presence is felt as the PCC chief.

Sharmila has been putting up an intense fight in Andhra Pradesh. She is not leaving any stone unturned to target the YCP and TDP. Compared to the TDP, she is targeting more YCP which made the ruling party leaders say that she might be reading the TDP script and is targeting only YSRCP.

But there seems to be no change in her style. Recently she came down severely on Jagan alleging that he is allied with BJP. She said that the alliance is invisible but the YCP won't go against the BJP.

Sharmila asked why YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is not talking about the special status when he made many big claims when he was in opposition. Adding further she asked why the Chief Minister is not fighting for the special status and to stop the Vizag Steel Plant privatisation.
