Can Mama Win The Fifth Term As CM in Madhya Pradesh?

The poll-bound states went to the general elections recently and its the time for the results to be released. Sunday is the D-day for the results and all eyes are on the results which will be announced by the Election Commission after the final round of counting.

Madhya Pradesh is one of the states which went through the elections. The focus is on the state to see what happens. Bhartiya Janata Party veteran Shivraj Singh Chouhan is getting all the attention in the wake of the election results.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan who is fondly called Mama in the state became the Chief Minister four times including the current term. If he can manage to come to power in the election results then he becomes the only Chief Minister to assume the post five times.

If Shivraj Singh Chouhan can win the elections, then he will become the second leader in the country with this massive record. Earlier, Pawan Kumar Chamling scripted history with five terms as the CM. However, he served as the CM for five consecutive terms.

He served as the CM for three terms between 2005 to 2018 and became the CM for the fourth term in the previous elections. He became CM in a dramatic turn of events. BJP could not reach the magic figure so did Congress. However Congress formed the government with the support of others.

But Congress saw cracks as Jyotiraditya Scindia and his camp joined the BJP. The saffron party formed the government with a new strength. Now all eyes are on the state to see if Mama can win the fifth term.
