A new study found an interesting aspect of link between the BP and marriages. A multinational study said that a major share of couples across the world have BP. The shocking thing is that if one person in the couple has the condition the other person also develops it.
A multinational study was published in the American Heart Association Journal which says that if one person in a couple gets BP the other will also get it and the chances of the same are very high.
The author of the study said that usually, BP is a common condition in middle-aged and older adults. Adding further the author said the study also found both wife and husband have BP and this is the situation of many couples in the US, England, China, and India.
Talking about the reasons behind this, the authors said that among the four nations, the trend is high in China and India and dubbed the family structure in these nations as the possible reason behind this.
“People believe in family structure here and prefer living together. The conversations and the lifestyle of the couple play a key role in this. 47 percent of couples in England have BP followed by the US(37.9%), China(20.8%), and India(19.8%). The size of the sample is 30,000,” the author said.
