Indian Squad Seeks Divine Blessings Ahead Of T20 Series!

Ahead of the T20 series Team India visited the famous Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam in Simhachalam to seek divine blessings

Team India is all set to play the T20 series against the Australian team. Men In Blue will be led by Surya Kumar Yadav aka SKY and the young players were picked for the series in the absence of the senior players and stalwarts. The series will start today and Vizag will host the first match.

Ahead of the T20 series Team India visited the famous Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam in Simhachalam to seek divine blessings. They were given a traditional welcome as they were the VIP guests at the temple.

The team performed special poojas at the temple. When they reached the temple they were given traditional welcome and were offered theertha Prasadam. The players were presented with photos of the deity. They posed together for a beautiful picture.

A few days after the World Cup tournament the T20 series started. Regular players were rested and young players were given a chance in the team. Surya Kumar Yadav is the skipper of the Indian side while Matthew Wade will lead the Australian side.

Indian Squad: Suryakumar Yadav (Captain), Ruturaj Gaikwad (vice-captain), Ishan Kishan, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Shivam Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar.

If we look at the T20 side only three players who were part of the World Cup squad were retained for the series. Surya Kumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, and Prasidh Krishna were given a chance in the T20 series. The young side is carrying a lot of expectations.
