India is a famous country for self proclaimed godmen who eventually turn out to be conmen. One such story involves none other than self proclaimed Babaji Mr. Nithyaananda, who had been in the news for a long time now.

Recent reports have sparked speculation about the alleged death of self-proclaimed godman Swami Nithyananda. Multiple Tamil media outlets have claimed that Nithyananda has passed away, but there has been no official confirmation from his followers or his self-declared nation, ‘Kailaasa.’

Some people believe that these reports might be an elaborate April Fools’ Day hoax, as similar rumors have surfaced in the past without any factual basis.

Nithyananda, who fled India in 2019 after facing serious allegations of rape and sexual abuse, has remained elusive ever since. He reportedly founded ‘Kailaasa,’ a so-called spiritual nation on a remote island, though the exact location remains a mystery. His absence from public appearances and the lack of verifiable communication have only fueled speculation about his fate.

Previously, in May 2022, rumors about his death had also circulated widely. At that time, Nithyananda released an audio message claiming that he was alive, undergoing medical treatment, and in a deep meditative state. However, his continued absence from public life keeps the mystery alive.
