No More P*rn in India? Supreme Court Took Right Decision!
This was an ambitious attempt, considering that India is a country of 140 billion people and it is tough to take such decisions.
It is already known that Indian government had been taking strict measures to ensure the restriction of the circulation of p*rnographic Content in India. This matter has now reached the Supreme Court and a pretty solid judgement has been made.
Incidentally, there was this public petition to completely eradicate the p*rn culture from India and a complete ban on watching such adult content at any capacity across the country. This was an ambitious attempt, considering that India is a country of 140 billion people and it is tough to take such decisions.
In accordance with the Supreme Court of India has decided not to restrict the consumption of adult content as they have said it is very impractical and illogical to do the same.
This is an exceptional decision from the Supreme Court, considering the fact that adult content cannot be entirely blamed for what is happening in the society. Moreover, imposing a band on such Content will serve very little purpose when it comes to the social adequate etiquette.
Adequate measures like increased education on these matters and proper counselling from the local authorities are the possible solutions for the ongoing issues in the society with regard to attacks on women.
It is simply not right to push the blame on this adult content while the real issue is happening elsewhere. So it can perhaps be argued that the Supreme Court has taken an excellent decision to this effect. The real problem is coming from different pathways, and it is crucial that the government focuses on this before doing anything else.
So the people on social media have also started to agree with the Supreme Court on this matter as they are saying that simply attacking one kind of Content will not solve the entire problem.
