Now a country has come up with a bold step. The Country came up with an offer saying that it would offer money if people left the country. People who are born in foreign countries and possess the passport are being encouraged to leave the country.
As per the media reports Sweden is in plans to shed off immigrants. Under the voluntary exit scheme, those who are ready to leave the country would get 10,000 in Swedish currency and their travel costs will also be covered. Half the amount would be given to children.
Media reports say that the initiative is aimed at encouraging foreign-born Swedish passport holders to leave the country. However, the move is getting a wide range of criticism too.
Due to various reasons, Sweden has been witnessing migration in big numbers leading to the rise in population. In the past two decades migration has increased and the measures to cut down the population are not giving any positive outcomes.
With this, the Swedish administration came up with the idea. However, a few officials are saying that the initiative is a good chance for immigrants who could not blend with the environment as they would get money for leaving the country and the travel expenses would also be covered.
