Switzerland Ranks 1st While India Ends Up at 33rd In Ranking!

Switzerland instantly reminds us of the beautiful locations and nature's magnificent beauty. The famous Alps mountains, The Swiss Bank which is famous for storing black money and its neutral stance in world politics are what come to our mind when we think of this small country. Now, Switzerland has grabbed the first spot in the 'Best Countries Ranking 2024' released by US News & World Report.

They achieved it for the third year in a row. 89 countries were taken into consideration and the list is made by considering 73 different attributes. There are sub-rankings such as quality of life, heritage, adventure, agility and more. Switzerland ranked top in many metrics including openness to business and quality of life. The European countries took majority spots in the Top 25 list.

They were followed by nations like the United States Of America, Canada, Australia and Japan. Back in 2023, India was ranked 30th while it dropped three spots this year. Countries like China, South Korea, Singapore and Japan are ahead of India in Asia. The list was formed by a model developed by Wharton Business School.
