The ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh is having a strong strength in the Assembly constituency. But the strength did not stop the opposition Telugu Desam Party from winning the MLC seat. The YCP faced a big jolt with allegations of four MLAs cross-voting. The issue became a big sensation back then.

Tadikonda MLA Undavalli Sridevi, one of the four MLAs who are accused of cross-voting suddenly met Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu. The lady MLA was accompanied by her husband when he met the former Chief Minister of the state.

After the meeting, Tadikonda MLA Undavalli Sridevi spoke to the media and showered massive praises on Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh. She said that they stood by her when she was in tough times as she was surrounded by a bunch of difficulties. She said that the meeting was just a courtesy one.

She said that she was targeted and her office was attacked and during the tough time they supported me. Now I am living in Hyderabad. I will announce my further decision in a few months.

However, the sudden meeting sparked the debate on whether Undavalli Sridevi is shifting her loyalties to the TDP from the YSRCP. She was suspended from the party over the charges of cross-voting in the MLC polls. She hit back at this alleging that she was cornered.

After her suspension, the MLA's actions started a debate on whether she is inclining towards the TDP. First, she supported the Amaravati demand, the brainchild of the party, and said that the farmers and locals gave lands for a good cause and that should be achieved.

All these developments raised many eyeballs and started a debate on whether the MLA will take the route of the TDP. She was already suspended from the YSRCP and there is no assurance of a party ticket for the next elections.

If she has to continue in politics, then Undavalli Sridevi has to pick other parties and Telugu Desam Party is in a better position compared to other parties like Janasena and Bharatiya Janata Party. Let us wait and see what happens next.
