Of late we have been hearing a lot of possible change of path for Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan. It has been reported that the Telangana Governor might be replaced as there are high chances of her contesting the upcoming elections. These reports gained momentum as the Lok Sabha elections are just months away.
Earlier the Governor made some critical comments on the previous Congress government which we usually hear from the political parties. With this, the reports on her possible election gained momentum. Amid this, the Governor reacted to the reports and clarified them.
Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan responded to the rumours and said that there is no truth in this. She also said that she did not request a ticket in the elections. I want to stay close to the people and serve them better, she said.
Responding to the rumours of her resignation, Tamilisai Soundararajan said that what is being reported is not true and she is not contesting the polls. I am not contesting in the elections and I am not resigning, she said.
Tamilisai Soundararajan did not have a good time with the previous government led by BRS. She had a fallout with the Chief Minister and both sides made critical comments against each other. She even appeared on a TV channel for a debate which is very strange for a Constitutional position like Governor.
The Telangana Governor visited the famous Timber in Hyderabad which prepared the doors for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. She visited the shop and had a glimpse of the work the company did. She said that she got to know about the shop through the media and wanted to visit the place.
