Tech Giant Bats For Pushing Work From Office Model!
Work from home became the new normal for the employees as the employers asked them to work remotely as a safety measure
Work from home became the new normal for the employees as the employers asked them to work remotely as a safety measure. Employees liked the idea as they could be with their families. The majority of them worked from the houses. This trend had lasted for around two years.
Later the remote culture came into existence with employers allowing employees to work from the office a few days in the week and work remotely for the rest of the days. A few companies and giants are using the model so that it benefits both employees and employers.
However, a few companies are very strict on work from office model and they want the employees to come to the office at any cost. It is said that the employees were given directives on coming to offices and they might also lose their jobs.
Tech giant Tata Consultancy Services is very adamant about bridging employees to the offices. The giant said that it is doing away with work from home policy and that the employees should come to office.
TCS CEO K Krithivasan said that they will not encourage the WFH policy anymore. He said that employees should come to the office for work as they get to learn new things.
Drawing a comparison between WFH and Work From Office models, the CEO said that employees get to learn new skills if they come to offices which is not the case with remote and hybrid models of work.
The CEO cited another reason for batting for the work-from-home model. He said that working from the office improved the collaboration and conversations between the employees which help them in learning new things from others and they can share many things between them.
