TDP MP Orders For Ramoji Rao’s Statue, Where Will It Set Up?

Ramoji Group Chairman, Media Mogul Cherukuri Ramoji Rao passed away recently. His last rites were held at the Film City. Chandrababu Naidu took part in the rites and bore the mortal remains of Ramoji Rao. On the other hand, a statue of Ramoji Rao is being prepared.
A big statue of Eenadu owner Ramoji Rao is being readied at the Kothapet of the Dr Ambedkar Konaseema district in Andhra Pradesh. Vizianagaram MP Kalisetti Appalnaidu is preparing the statue and popular sculptor Rajakumar Wudayar is taking care of the statue.
The statue will not be set up at the Ramoji Film City or the Eenadu office in Hyderabad. The statue will be placed in Vizag from where the journey of Eenadu was started. To help the future generations know about him the statue will be placed there.
The statue is being prepared like how Ramoji Rao looked when he was 60. It took just four days to prepare the seven and a half feet statue. MP Appalnaidu who was earlier a reporter with Eenadu examined the statue recently.
Appalnaidu said that the statue will be set up in a bid to honor the services Ramoji Rao did to the Telugu people. Sculptor Rajakumar Wudayar said that he is feeling lucky to get the chance to work on Ramoji Rao statue.
Ramoji Rao passed away on the 8th of this month. It is said that 25 statues would be set up in 25 different situations on the 16th of November on the eve of his 89th Anniversary.
