Politics is a platform to serve the people. Those who are in power work for the betterment of the people by bringing schemes and initiatives. Those who are in opposition try to be the voice of the people by raising the issues faced by the people. However, the political picture of Andhra Pradesh appears to be different.

There is a strong criticism that politics lost charm in Andhra Pradesh with leaders using objectionable language. Earlier Venkaiah Naidu also expressed his concerns over this and said that politics are not as respectful as they used to be earlier.

Adding fuel to this we get to hear foul language from the leaders. As an example of this TDP and YCP indulged in an ugly war of words. One party said Nikker Minister the other party said Drawer MLA.

It is common for the parties to have issues and fight with each other. But there is a need to maintain some dignity. What message the parties want to send is the question many have.

Neutral people are not linking the language the parties are using. While TDP is in power now, YCP was in power in the last term. Despite this, the official handles of the parties are using the language.

It all started over the Anna Canteens. Nara Lokesh urged people to come forward with donations for the canteens. Responding to this YCP targeted Lokesh and called him Nikkar Minister. Not happy with this TDP hitback and called Jagan a Cut Drawer MLA.
