Tech Giant Ends WFH, Asks Employees To Follow Dress Code!
Leading tech giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) joined the list and said that the work-from-home option is discontinued.
When the COVID outbreak hit us the work-from-home model became the new normal and employees across the fields worked remotely. Companies also asked employees to work remotely as a safe measure. Even the IT giants took the same path and directed the employees to use the facility.
As the COVID fear is over, companies are slowly getting back to normal and asking employees to come to the office. Leading tech giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) joined the list and said that the work-from-home option is discontinued.
As per the information that is coming, the TCS management has decided to end the remote policy and asked the majority of employees to come to the office. It is said that the employees received official mail from the management saying the same.
If we have to take anything from the reports, the mail was sent in the name of the chief human resource officer asking the employees to come to the offices. Talking about the WFH, the mail said that since the COVID outbreak, the employees worked remotely.
In the last two years, new associates also joined us and we should bring all the associates together. For this, working from the office is the need of the hour. Hence asking the employees to come to the office, the mail reportedly said.
Not Just that, the TCS management is also said to have listed a dress code for the employees based on the days of the week. From Monday To Thursday employees are reportedly asked to opt for Business casuals which include Formal full-sleeved shirts, formal trousers, and Formal skirts or business dresses. Employees can wear Formal shoes, moccasins, flats, heels, pumps, and dress sandals.
On Friday, the last working day for the employees they should wear Smart casuals. They can wear Casuals, half-sleeved shirts, collared t-shirts, golf/polo shirts, and turtlenecks. Kurtis, printed blouses, and skirts are prescribed for the employees.
Formal events and client visits are very crucial in the tech world and employees taking part in the meetings are expected to opt for the business formal attire to follow the dress code.
