Even nearly three weeks, since the day of its theatrical debut, Pushpa 2 is continuing to make headlines in the Telugu states. The film is now in the news again after Congress MLC Teenmar Mallanna filed a police complaint against the same.
Mallanna has filed a complaint at the Medipalli police station and he named hero Allu Arjun, director Sukumar, and the producers of Pushpa 2 in the same. That certain scenes in the film are completely against the police force and requested the department to take adequate action against the same
Mallanna has specifically criticized a scene where the protagonist urinates in a swimming pool while a police officer is present in the same pool. The MLC described the scene as disrespectful and degrading to the dignity of law enforcement officers.
In his complaint, Mallanna demanded action against the film’s director Sukumar and lead actor Allu Arjun, as well as the producers of the movie. He urged authorities to take strict measures to address what he called an offensive portrayal of the police.
In response to this complaint filed by Mallanna, the fans and followers of Allu Arjun are commenting that there is absolutely nothing wrong about these scenes as they are part and parcel of commercial cinema.
They are further pointing out the statutory note that is displayed at the start of every film, which clearly mentions that the characters and story in the film are of fiction.
