Teenmaar Mallanna: What a fall from grace?

It is so very well said that the rolling stone never gathers any mass. This has proved cent per cent correct in case of maverick media-man and inveterate KCR baiter Teenmaar Mallanna. He tried something very big for the 2023 Telangana elections. But, his ambition got the better of him. This made him make one false step after another. At the end of the day, all the promise and power he portrayed went waste and he ended up as a big nothing.

Teenmaar Mallanna aka Chintapandu Naveen, who used the character he portrayed in the small screen namesake humour skit, became a diehard opponent of KCR and braved police cases and arrests. This made him popular among the people, especially the young voters. His courage too came in for lot of praise.

However, the political animal woke up in him and he contested the MLC elections, where he performed creditably despite losing. Then the BJP courted him. He joined the party and got support from some BJP leaders. But, he soon began courting Revanth Reddy, who too funded him.

Then, he felt that he was made for bigger things and tried to form his own front. However, these attempts met with a miserable failure. Now he is back to the Congress Party. But, the Congress now is in no mood to give him a party ticket. So, it made him the campaign committee incharge, which practically means nothing. So, Mallanna is now busy doing videos for the party at a time when he should have been in the poll arena campaigning in full flow.
