The government of Telangana had been particularly aggressive against Tollywood in recent months. The demolition of the convention Centre that belonged to Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and also the arrest, and subsequent release of Allu Arjun clearly hired at the same. Adding to that senior actor, Mohan Babu was under the police radar after attacking media journalist.

All these incidents gave the implication that the Telangana government is willing to go super hard against the film industry. However, luckily things are starting to change now with the government, seemingly taking the foot off the pedal.

Earlier it was the release of Allu Arjun, and the subsequent pacification of the case that was filed against him. Now is the turn of Mohan Babu to face some respite in his own legal battle.

Mohan Babu approached the Supreme Court with regard to the case that was filed against him, and he managed to secure some relief there. The court ordered the investigation agencies not to carry on with the process for the next four weeks.

Had the public prosecutor and the defence attorney pushed really hard, then the case might have taken a different discourse. however, considering that Mohan Babu is a veteran personality and is one of the most respected individuals in Indian Cinema going after him, legally at this point in time did not look rights

It is good that he is getting some respite from this case, especially considering he had already apologised to the team and extended support.

As it appears, the government is slowly, but surely starting to ease off on the film industry, which is ultimately a very good sign.
