HYDRA Actions Leaves Telangana BJP Leaders In Confusion?
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy implemented many ideas after assuming the CMO.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy implemented many ideas after assuming the CMO. Out of all, starting HYDRA remains the big decision without a doubt. It's been just a month since the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRA) was started and it is already a sensation in the state.
It had increased the political heat in the state with the demolition of the N Convention. What HYDRA is doing turned out to be a political sensation with the leaders giving their views on this.
In particular, we are hearing a mixed response from the BJP leaders. Political experts say that it appears as if the leaders are confused about this with the leaders giving contrasting views.
MP Etela Rajender slammed the government on HYDRA Demolitions and asked who gave them the orders for doing this. He even alleged that with such actions they want to inculcate fear in the common people. The MP even called this a High Drama.
The second version came from MP Raghunandan Rao. He supported the demolitions and said that the good work should be continued and no one should be spared if any encroachment takes place.
On the other hand, Telangana BJP MLA Alleti Maheshwar Reddy made sensational comments on the issue and expressed his dissatisfaction over the inaction on the illegal constructions in the old city. He asked about action on the buildings that allegedly belong to the Owaisi family.
Usually, BJP leaders stick to one opinion on the issues in the majority of cases. But we are seeing the leaders with different views. Political experts wonder if the BJP is confused over the issue as it is unable to decide how to go forward with the trend.
We are hearing two versions on what HYDRA is doing. A section of people support HYDRA’s actions saying that it should continue the work and not take a back step even if it gets pressure. However, there are a few corners about people who purchased lands and houses in these properties.
Looks like the BJP is yet to have a strategy on HYDRA action as we are seeing leaders giving contrasting views.
