No Assurance Of Winning, But Race For CM Post In Congress!
Amid this, the Congress party started a new debate on who would be the Chief Minister's face if the party wins the elections
The much-awaited general elections in Telangana concluded just a while ago. Despite the elections starting with less vote percentage, the numbers picked up. Many say that the voting percentage did not meet the expectations and fell short of reaching them which is a big shock. While the exact numbers are not known the vote percentage is said to be less than the previous one.
Amid this, the Congress party started a new debate on who would be the Chief Minister's face if the party wins the elections. It is said that the CM race in Congress party is very long and as many as eight people are in the race for the big position.
As per the information that is coming from the media Revanth Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jana Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Jeevan Reddy, Renuka Chowdary and Damodar Raja Narasimha.
There is no assurance on whether the Congress would win the elections or not. But the Congress leaders are in the race which is strange. One has to admit that Congress is looking strong compared to earlier which is a good sign for the party.
But the question that arises here is whether the Party is strong enough to come to power. Even if the party goes past the magic figure in the state it is too early to talk about the CM race. Big leaders in the party are in the race for the big post.
All eight names in the list are big leaders and have a different legacy. If one person is picked for the big position of Chief Minister the others will raise their voice and revolt. We have seen this when the TPCC chief was appointed.
Congress party leadership picked Revanth over others for the TPCC chief post. This did not go well with the seniors who only questioned this. A few seniors said they would not work with Revanth for the party.
