Ahead of June 2, a big discussion is going on about the emblem of the state

All eyes are on June 2 which marks the formation day of Telangana. The demand to have a special state which has been going on for decades was finally achieved which resulted in Telangana being carved out of the combined Andhra Pradesh. The coming June 2 marks ten years of state formation.

Ahead of June 2, a big discussion is going on about the emblem of the state. It is being reported that the government wants to change the logo and there would be no symbols that were present in the symbol which is in use to date.

Now a picture is doing rounds which is dubbed as the finalised emblem of Telangana which has the picture of India’s State Emblem(Asiatic lions and Ashoka Chakra). Martyrs played a key role in fulfilling the demand of s special state and the picture also has Telangana Martyrs Memorial. Rice was also given a space. Telangana government was written in four languages- Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and English.

While there is no official confirmation on this a picture is circulating claiming that this is the emblem that is finalised by the government at a crucial meeting. It is also said that the government might announce the emblem soon.

We might get clarity on this once we hear anything from the ruling party. As of now, it is being reported that the emblem was finalised by the government. This started a discussion on whether this is the new emblem of Telangana state.

So far the Telangana embalmed had Kakatiya Thoranam and Charminar. The Kakatiya dynasty was one of the popular dynasties that ruled the Deccan region. Orugallu which is current Warangal was the capital of the kingdom and the Kakatiya Thoranam was given a place in the emblem. But the Telangana government wants to remove the Kakatiya Thoranam.
