The political heat in the country has increased as the Lok Sabha elections are approaching. Every party has a goal as far as the seats are concerned and they are working on it. BJP wants to win as many as 400 seats while the opposition under the INDIA bloc wants to stop the BJP.

Ahead of the elections, an interesting aspect of Lok Sabha elections in Telangana has come. Candidates who lost as MLA are in the race for MP polls. There are around ten leaders who lost as MLA but they are contesting MP polls.

Etela Rajender: He is a strong BC leader who actively took part in the Telangana movement. He won consecutive elections from the Huzurabad seat including the by-polls. But he faced a big shock as he lost his first elections in the recent elections. Despite this, he is contesting the Malkajgiri segment.

Raghunandan Rao: He became a sensation in the state by becoming the second BJP MLA in Telangana. Earlier only Raja Singh was the sole MLA. He tasted success by winning the Dubbaka. Known as a good speaker, Raghunandan Rao lost the elections. He is trying his luck from the Medak seat this time.

RS Praveen Kumar: The former IPS took a voluntary retirement and joined the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). He was made the state chief. He campaigned hard for the elections and contested from the Sirpur seat. But he tasted defeat. Later he left the BSP and joined BRS. He was announced as the Nagarkurnool Lok Sabha candidate.

Neelam Madhu: The young leader tried his luck from the Patancheru assembly constituency in 2023 as a BSP leader. But he could not go past the win. Now he is with Congress and he was given a ticket from Medak.

Aroori Ramesh: The former MLA tasted defeat in the recent elections. But that did not stop him from trying his luck as MP. He is in the race from the Warangal seat. Earlier he was with BRS. But he quit the party and joined the BJP.

Koppula Eshwar: The senior BRS leader served as the Minister earlier. He lost the election in the strong zone of Dharmapuri. However, the party gave him another chance and he is the candidate from the Peddapalli seat.

Baji Reddy Govardhan: The BRS leader lost the elections from the Nizamabad Rural seat in 2023. He is the candidate from the Nizamabad MP seat.

Dharmapuri Arvind: To increase the party’s strength in the Assembly, BJP asked the MPs also to contest as MLAs. But they lost. MP Dharmapuri Arvind who earlier defeated Kavitha lost as an MLA and he is in the race for MP elections.
