The Assembly sessions in Telangana are going on actively. We are seeing some intense scenes in the House with a war of words between the leaders. We have seen how Chief Minister Revanth Reddy blasted the BRS over its claims of providing a 24-hour power supply. The BRS hit back.
As a result, the Assembly sessions lasted till midnight the other day. It is said that the sessions lasted for around 17 hours breaking the previous record in the last term under the BRS ruling. We saw some war of words between Minister Komatireddy and Jagadish Reddy, and Seethakka and Kaushik Reddy.
Seeing the Assembly sessions being held for long hours the Speaker is said to have given key orders. Reports say that Gaddam Prasad Kumar urged the members of the hours to not speak for a long time and confine themselves to the point.
It is said that the Speaker of the House urged the members to speak when their turn comes and they should finish the address in the given time. The Speaker said that every member of the house should follow this and they should confine themselves to the point.
What the Speaker ordered came as a shock to one and all as we don't hear such a thing. Given the experience of the sessions on the other day, the Speaker is said to have taken the decision and urged the members to follow this.
Today is dubbed as a crucial day as far as the sessions are concerned as issues in 19 departments will be discussed. As this might take a lot of time the Speaker might have asked the members of the House to not take much time to talk in the Assembly.
