India’s Richest People: Telugu Domination Is Clear!

For the last few decades, the kind of dominant is that the Telugu community has been showing in the industrial sector has been beyond ordinary and the positive effects are being reaped now.

The latest establishment is that the richest people in India are compiled into a list and the positive results are very much evident for the Indian community on priority.

The Telugu states continue to produce significant entrepreneurial wealth and this is evident in the Hurun India Rich List 2026 lists 133 billionaires from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with their combined wealth reported at ₹10.76 lakh crore.

The list includes names from pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, data centres, energy and real estate. It is good to see some of the big names in the Telugu land dominate the list across the country.

Among the names featured are Murali Divi, P. Pitchi Reddy, P. Krishna Reddy, Giridhar Pinnapureddy, P. Prasad Reddy, B. Parthasaradhi Reddy and Rameshwar Rao Jupally.

Incidentally, 7 Hyderabad residents feature in India’s Top 100, led by Murali Divi and family with ₹1.25 lakh crore. Megha constructions Pichi Reddy is at ₹53,000 crore.

The years we have been witnessing the Gujarat community being the leading business sectors in the country, but for a change, we are witnessing the Telugu community also making consistent progress.

Perhaps better representation for the Telugu community at the national political scene could enhance their positioning further.
