The Telugu population is increasing significantly in the West, the United States in particular. Over the years, the population is growing there. As a result, the Telugu Associations were also set up for the community that hold various activities. TANA is a premium association in this space.
Telugu Association of North America (TANA) which is behind holding various activities to bring the community together for festivals and other occasions went for the elections recently and all eyes were on the polls to see the results.
The wait is over, the TANA results are out and the new panel won the elections with a good margin. The panel led by Kodali Naren emerged victorious. Contestants from the panel defeated their opponents and recorded a memorable win. After the results were out the panel members are getting applause from various corners.
Kodali Naren who contested for the Executive Vice President post defeated his opponent Sateesh Vemuri with a margin of over 2,000 runs. Raja Kasukurthi recorded a win with over 1000 runs as the secretary while Bharat Maddineni is the Treasurer. Venkay Koganti is the new Joint Secretary.
Talking about the other members of the panel, Sunil Pantra was elected as the Joint Treasurer, while Lokesh Konidala is the Community Service Coordinator. Uma R Katiki(Cultural Service Coordinator), Sohini Ayanala(Women's Services Coordinator), Tagore Mallineni(International Coordinator) and Sateesh Kommana(Councilor At Large).
