Why TDP ticket aspirants are worried over Chandrababu's 'inaction?'

There is deep disquiet within the Telugu Desam Party over the inordinate delay in formulating the electoral strategy for the 2024 elections. The party cadres and leaders feel that Chandrababu Naidu should immediately spell out whether there is going to be an alliance with the Jana Sena or not. They feel that any further delay will affect the party’s performance in the elections.
The reason for this disquiet is because there is no confirmation of either official confirmation or rebuttal of whether there would be an alliance with the Jana Sena. All the buzz that is happening is only unofficial. Neither Jana Sena nor Chandrababu have clearly and openly spelt out anything about seat-sharing so far.
As a result, the party leaders, especially the ticket aspirants, do not know whether they would get a ticket or not. Hence, they are not focusing on outreach in their constituencies. The question, what if my seat goes to the Jana Sena in the seat-sharing, is dogging most of the Telugu Desam Party candidates these days.
Hence, they want Chandrababu to clear the confusion at the earliest. Otherwise, they would not be in a position to campaign and organize things in their constituency. It will be too late and this would be used by the YSRCP to its advantage, argue TDP leaders. It is time there should be a clear signal about whether there would be an alliance or not.
