Will the Telugu Desam Party chief get the required relief? Can the former Chief Minister have a breather at last? These are the questions many have after knowing the sensational petition that was filed by the lawyers of Chandrababu Naidu in the High Court seeking bail.
As per the information, a house motion petition was filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court by the lawyers seeking bail on the grounds of his health. Saying that surgery should be performed on his eye, the bail was sought.
The lawyers told the court that a cataract operation was performed on the left eye of Chandrababu Naidu three months back and that the surgery should be performed on the right eye. Citing this as a reason the petition was filed.
The House motion petition was filed in the High Court on Thursday. While there is no clarity on when the petition might come up for the hearing, reports say that the petition might be heard tomorrow.
All eyes are now on the petition to see what happens. Chandrababu Naidu who has been waging a legal battle to get relief in the case is yet to get a breather. He moved multiple courts. However, his efforts went in vain.
On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh High Court is also expected to hear his bail petition soon. When the petition he filed in connection with the AP Skill Development scam was adjourned after the holidays, his lawyers requested the Court to allow the petition to be heard by the vacation bench.
