Tesla has demonstrated its long-awaited Roadster 2, featuring 10 SpaceX-style thrusters powered by compressed air to lift and spin the car mid-air. Tesla claims it can go from 0–60 mph in just one second.

According to the video, pre-bookings are open in India, with the performance variant priced at around ₹45 lakh and the thrust variant at ₹2.45 Crore while a reservation reportedly costs around ₹5 lakh.

Getting the car for around ₹2.5 crore is one thing, but the real question is whether flying cars are actually legal in Indian market. The rules and regulations in the Indian automobile industry are extremely regulated, and we have to see if the government would actually be permitting this flying car at this point.

For now, there is no official update on whether this car would be able to operate in the Indian market. It should be very wild to even imagine a car flying on the roads of India, considering the extreme traffic congestion and landing place complications here.
