CM Vijay Thinking Too Much Too Soon Already?

Tamil Nadu has produced one of the most remarkable political stories in recent years in the form of nomination of Thalapathy Vijay, as the chief minister of the state. He was so very successful with his campaign that he became the chief minister of Tamil Nadu and his very first attempt.

However, the series of events that have been happening in Tamil Nadu after the election of Vijay, as the chief minister has become a topic of discussion now.

Incidentally, Vijay has spoken about the times when Annadurai, MGR, NTR and others have scripted history in Indian politics by having cinema background and eventually becoming big names in politics. He conveniently added himself to the list too.

There is nothing wrong in Vijay, speaking highly of himself, considering the remarkable success that he had tested in Tamil Nadu politics by becoming the CM. But people are commenting that he might be thinking too much of himself already like comparing to some of the legendary personalities.

People are pointing out that legends like MGR and NTR had done so much to the people of their respective states over the years after becoming the CMs. This is the reason why that they are remembered even to this day and our valued so much among their communities.

To put that into perspective, it has been barely four months since Vijay became the chief minister, and he is already adding himself next to some of the legendary personalities. If Vijay does a good job with the administrative duty as the chief minister, then the people of Tamil Nadu themselves will give him the credit. But there is no point in Vijay elevating himself in the Assembly.

Also, there is this new picture that is going viral where Vijay’s portrait is seen alongside the likes of NTR, MGR and others. This picture is now leading to further discussion on social media, as this was not what was expected from Vijay.

Vijay had been very humble and grounded with his approach the chief minister till now, so any kind of abnormal activities like elevating himself by using other legendary personalities, might go back badly. But at the end of the day, Vijay is very smart with his strategy, and he is likely to learn from this backlash.
