Days after becoming the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is not wasting any time in showing his mark. He expressed his dissatisfaction with a few IAS and IPS officers. He took a big decision and opted for a big bureaucratic reshuffle. IAS officers were transferred and Controversial IAS officers were directed to report to the General Administration Department(GAD).

After IAS it's the turn of IPS transfer in the state. The new government ordered a few transfers. What caught everyone’s attention is that the officers include former DGP Rajendranath Reddy. He was sent to the Printing & Stationery department.

P.V. Sunil Kumar of Disaster Response and Rishanth Reddy of the Intelligence wing were also transferred. While Sunil Kumar was asked to report to GAD, Rishanth Reddy was asked to report to the DGP.

Ex-DGP Rajendranath Reddy is a curious case in the last term. The opposition parties alleged that he is favoring the ruling YCP. Before the elections, he served as the DGP and the opposition took a strong objection to this and demanded his transfer. However, the YCP did not react to this.

Despite the opposition attack, the YCP did not transfer him which added fuel to the allegations that he is the favorite DGP of the previous government. His transfer happened with the intervention of the Election Commission.

Chandrababu Naidu has been making big decisions of late and transferring IAS and IPS officers can be dubbed among them. Now a big debate is going on about who would replace the big posts in the new government.
