In the wake of the upcoming general elections, the contestants are filing their applications. Following the rules, they list out all their details like the properties they have and the assets they own. The election affidavits they are filing are raising many eyeballs due to the details they contain.

Contestants are also listing out the cases they are facing and the wealth they possess. With this people are talking about the rich contestants in the state who will face the upcoming elections. Let us dive into the details now. There are five rich candidates in the elections based on the election affidavits and let us have a look at them.

Gaddam Vivek: Dr. Vivek Venkatswamy hails from a Congress family. His father G. Venkat Swamy is a veteran Congress leader who served as the MP. Vivek also served as the MP. Having worked with the BJP for a few years he came back to the Congress fold recently. He will contest the Chennur seat. Talking about his wealth, he has Movable assets worth Rs. 606.67 crores and Immovable assets worth Rs. 225.91 crores. Assets he and his wife have are worth Rs. 45.44 crores

Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy: He is a popular leader from the Khammam region who needs no introduction. The former MP who traveled with BRS for some years was suspended and he joined the Congress. He is contesting the Paleru seat. Talking about his wealth, his Family owns assets worth Rs. 461.05 crores. He has fixed assets worth Rs. 32.44 crores. His wife’s income is Rs. 3.04 crores. However, his annual income is Rs. 32.07 lakhs

Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy: The senior Congress leader who earlier took the BJP route came back to the Congress party and he is gearing up to contest his Munugode seat. His affidavit became the talk of the town due to the assets. His assets are Rs 458.37 crores and his net worth increased by 45% compared to the previous elections. As he is into various businesses his annual income is Rs. 71.17 crores

Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao: The BRS boss who is the chief minister of the state is in fourth place on the list. He mentioned the family assets as Rs. 58.93 crores. He mentioned immovable and movable assets as Rs 23.50 crores and Rs 35.43 crores respectively. The Chief Minister has Rs. 8.88 crores debts.

Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao: IT Minister of the state who is fondly called KTR is ranked fifth as per the available information. The tech-savvy leader who is contesting the Sircilla Assembly seat said his family assets are worth Rs. 53.31 crore. He mentioned the movable assets as Rs. 35.01 crores and Immovable assets as Rs. 18.30 crores. The Chief Minister’s son said that he is having 11.99 crores of loans.
