Tirumala Laddu Issue: CM Chandrababu Brings New Twist

The Tirumala laddu issue has become a major cause of concern in the Andhra Pradesh political circles and this has taken a new twist with the latest set of comments from Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Amid allegations regarding the quality of ghee used in Tirumala laddu preparation, the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to take strict action.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced the formation of a committee to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. All available reports will be submitted before this committee, which will examine the facts impartially. The Chief Minister emphasized that anyone found guilty will not be spared.

A CBI report has already recommended taking action regarding the laddu issue, and the committee will carefully review it. While the NDDB report indicated some lapses in the ghee, the CBI report did not find any evidence of adulteration. Chandrababu highlighted that under the previous government, devotees had become hesitant to visit Tirumala or partake of the laddus due to widespread fear and confusion.

Addressing public concerns, he questioned whether the government should apologize or bear the criticism alone, stressing that the matter touches the sentiments of millions of devotees. The Chief Minister assured that the guilty would be punished decisively and no one would be spared.

This step, he noted, is necessary to maintain transparency, restore public trust, and ensure the sanctity of Tirumala’s offerings. The government aims to handle the matter firmly while respecting devotees’ sentiments.
