These Are The Top Car Models In Terms Of Safety!

As the car was damaged, a big debate was started on the safety standards of the cars and the car models that offer safety. Lakhs are spent to buy cars but there were a few doubts about the safety offered.

Amid the debate, the list of top ten safety cars in India is doing rounds. The Global New Car Assessment Programme (Global NCAP), there are ten car models which are safe. Let us have a look at the models.

Tata Harrier: The Suv was ranked at the top with a 5-star rating. Available in various variants the car prices range between Rs. 15.49 - 26.44 Lakh. As the car met the ratings it was ranked at number one position.

Tata Safari: Tata Motors is one of the trusted companies. It is no wonder that Tata companies cars are in first and second places. The luxury car went through a lot of changes and reached the shape we are seeing now.

Volkswagen Virtus: The German automobile manufacturer has the image of manufacturing some of the safest vehicles in the world. Virtus, the Subcompact car received five stars. However, it received fewer points compared to Harrier and Safari.

Skoda Slavia: The compact car is in fourth place on the list. The 5-door sedan was given fourth place as per the ratings.

Skoda Kushaq: Another Skoda vehicle on the list. The Sport Utility Vehicle stood at the fifth place on the list of safe car models.

Volkswagen Taigun: The SUV which is seeing good numbers in sales is also good in offering safety as per the standards. It was ranked 6th on the list.

Mahindra Scorpio-N: One of the favourite vehicles of people in the country. The SUV which offers good protection to adults could not offer the same to child occupants. It scored just 3 stars in child safety.

Hyundai Verna: The Subcompact car received fewer ratings and hence it was ranked at the 8th position.

Tata Punch: Tata Motors has another model on the list of safe models in the country. The no-compromise SUV which is what the name given to it offers good safety. It is at the 9th position on the list.

Mahindra XUV300: One of the highest sold cars in the country is also good at safety. It stands at 10th on the list.
