The President of United States, Donald Trump has made it a point to restrict the Indian immigration population in the country. He is leaving no stone unturned to make it all happen and it has now reached a point where people are asking if Trump has an alternative motive for the same.

In this context, Donald Trump has introduced a new immigration plan with two special visa programs. The first is called the Trump Gold Card, which costs $1 million for individuals and $2 million for companies.

The aim is to allow only top-level people and businesses into the US while raising money for the country. Trump said the money collected will help reduce taxes, support growth projects, and pay off national debt.

The Gold Card is meant for highly skilled people who can create jobs and grow businesses in the US. Corporations paying $2 million can also bring in talent and expand operations. Trump expects the program to quickly generate over $100 billion.

There is also a Trump Platinum Card in planning, which will cost $5 million. Platinum Card holders could live in the US up to 270 days a year without paying taxes on money earned outside the US. This card is for ultra-wealthy investors and is waiting for approval from Congress.

Alongside these programs, the Trump administration has changed the H-1B visa system. Companies hiring foreign workers in fields like STEM and IT must now pay $100,000 per application. This is intended to reduce misuse of the H-1B program and ensure that only skilled workers enter the US.
