Trump As Idiot: Google Images Fiasco, What Happened?

The President of United States, Donald Trump is one of the most entertaining and controversial global personalities, and he is never short of attention grabbing episodes. A similar scenario was observed in the Google images indexing.

Recently, when anyone searched with the keyword “Idiot” on Google images, it was shockingly reported that Donald Trump photo came up on the top. This seriously infuriated the Trump administration in the United States and the questioned Google CEO Sundar Pichai on this matter.

In his clarification statement regarding the presentation of Donald Trump image for the search term of Idiot, here’s what Sundar Pichai said.

According to Sundar Google images, indexing operates in a very streamlined manner. “Whenever a user inputs a keyboard index searches the most contemporary results and the most happening images and news on that particular matter. Google itself does not generate any particular results but it is the index bots that do the job.”

This is an indication of the fact that Google company had nothing to do with the fact that Donald Trump’s image came up when someone searched for the term Idiot on Google Images.

But nevertheless, it must be noted that the Trump administration in the United States is frustrated about this phenomenon, and they had a pretty strong opinion on the same. It has to be seen how Google would deal with the situation and react to it in the near future.
