Trump Loose Talk On India Again? What He Said
After labelling India as one of the friendly countries for the United States last week, Trump has said that India has historically loaded the United States with tariffs.
The kind of words that United States president Donald Trump has to say about India are always concerning as he generally changes his words ever so frequently on the same. Now he has done something unexpected again, as he has gone back on his words on India.
After labelling India as one of the friendly countries for the United States last week, Trump has said that India has historically loaded the United States with tariffs.
In his latest press conference at the White House, the United States president Donald Trump was very vocal with his reaction on India.
US President Donald Trump says, "For years, India took advantage of the United States. They charged us tremendous tariffs and paid nothing. Now it is the exact reverse and we are making a lot of money with India.
But we will get to a deal because I like your Prime Minister a lot; he is a good friend of mine, and we get along well. We have a good relationship"
This is nothing but a desperate attempt from Donald Trump to validate his recent tariff imposition against India as he appears to be a mission to somehow make money out of the country.
This is particularly interesting, considering the fact that the Supreme Court had recently reprimanded against international tariff system. It is evident that Trump does not have too much concern on this matter and is looking to exploit at whatever capacity he can.
Now that Trump has publicly said India has loaded the United States over the years with tariffs. It has to be seen what would be the reaction from the Indian external affairs.
