United States president Donald Trump is one of the most radical personalities in global politics and he is doing everything in his power to mess up with India by imposing trade tariffs. US President Donald Trump has once again made headlines by commenting on his relationship with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that Modi is unhappy with him due to tariff related issues. Speaking at a public event, Trump said that while he shares a good personal rapport with the Indian Prime Minister, trade policies have created some friction between the two countries.

Trump claimed that India has been subjected to heavy tariffs during his tenure, including steep duties on Indian goods entering the United States. He argued that these tariffs were necessary to protect American interests and ensure fair trade practices.According to Trump, India has long imposed high tariffs on US products, and his administration only responded by taking a tough stand.

He also referred to delays in the delivery of Apache helicopters to India, saying that Prime Minister Modi personally raised the issue with him. Trump suggested that such defence related matters also contributed to India’s dissatisfaction, even though cooperation between the two nations remained strong.

Despite acknowledging Modi’s displeasure, Trump maintained that the overall India US relationship was positive and built on mutual respect. His remarks highlight ongoing trade tensions between the two countries, even as both sides continue to engage diplomatically.
