An old petition filed by a veteran leader came for hearing before the Court and key orders were issued. The High Court gave key orders on the hearings in the cases faced by former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Having given the verdict the next hearing was adjourned.
It is known that Jagan is facing a few cases. Jagan did not personally attend the court as he was the CM in the last term. A few petitions were filed seeking the speedup of the hearing. Jagan sought exemption from personal appearance saying that he needs to take care of the administration.
Former MP Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah created a sensation earlier with a petition. In the petition, he sought directives from the Court to speed up the hearing. Hearing the petition Jogaiah filed earlier the High Court gave key orders.
The Telangana High Court said that the cases would be heard daily and directed the CBI court on this. The next hearing was adjourned after three weeks.
Hearing the petition the Telangana High Court ordered the CBI Court to hear the cases daily and asked it to submit a detailed report on the case. On the other hand, Jagan’s lawyers were also directed by the Court to file a counter on this.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the accused in a much-talked-about Disproportionate Assets Case that goes back many years. CBI filed many chargesheets in the case. The first charge sheet was filed in 2012 and he even went to prison in connection with the cases.
