The whole nation is talking about the inflammatory comments made by Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. Moreover, he is the Chief Minister's son. He made objectionable comments against Sanatan Dharma and compared it to diseases like dengue, malaria, and corona. His comments did not go well with the Hindu community and the bodies.

The grand alliance of the opposition parties INDIA saw a few cracks with his comments. One after the other, the parties came out and distanced themselves from the comments made by Udhayanidhi Stalin. This is a big blow for the alliance ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

His comments created a big uproar in the country and a few complaints were also filed against him. However, Udhayanidhi Stalin seemed to be unmoved by this and said that he will not apologise for his comments and he is ready to face any cases.

While so much is going on about the issue, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) which runs the holy shrine of Tirumala temple has taken some key decisions. The decision to renovate a few historic temples and construct a Lord Venkateswara temple in Mumbai's posh Bandra area was taken.

In a bid to inculcate the love for culture in people at an early age, TTD said that families of girls and boys who are below 25 will be provided the Darshan facility of the diety if they write Govinda Koti.

On the same occasion, TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy also reacted to the controversy and came down severely on Udhayanidhi Stalin. Invoking the Supreme Court's old observations that Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life, he said that Sanatana Dharma is a way of life and such objectionable comments will create unrest in the society.
