TV Presenter Leaves Gambhir In Splits With His Request!

BCCI’s brainchild Indian Premier League(IPL) is one of the most popular leagues in the world. The league also gave inspiration to other cricket boards to start similar tournaments. This is the impact the league created. A mini auction was held recently and raised many eyeballs.

A few players struck gold in the auction. While Pat Cummins was sold for Rs 20.50 crores, his teammate Mitchell Starc was sold at Rs 24.75 crores. The mini-auction shed light on the money the league can generate for the players. The two players were sold for a record price.

Days after the mini-auction a fun banter between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) mentor Gautam Gambhir and popular TV presenter Jatin Sapru is doing rounds on social media.

The two-time trophy-winner KKR made Mitchell Starc the most costly player in the history of the league. As Gautam Gambhir is the mentor of the team it is said that his suggestions might have played a role in the big purchase.

After the mini-auction in IPL Gautam Gambhir was interviewed. Adding laughter to the interview, Jatin Sapru jokingly asked Gambhir to give him two or three crores. This left the former Indian player in splits.
