India has a good record in the U-19 World Cup with a record number of trophies to its name. The Men In Blue won as many as five trophies to its name. In the 2024 edition as well India reached the finals with no defeat. But it could not continue the same stint as it lost the title to Australia.

When India reached the Finals and was scheduled to play against Australia, fans hoped that the U-19 team would take revenge for the 2023 World Cup loss. But the outcome was different as Australia defeated India in the finals. The result was another great break for the fans.

Despite the final loss, one thing became the talk as two Indian players had a conversation in Telugu. Wicket Keeper Avanish Rao gave suggestions to spin bowler Murugan Abhishek. When Abhishek was bowling, Avanish told him to bowl the same ball. He said that he is bowing well and It's ok even if he plays two shots.
