Indian Origin MP To Be Opposition Leader In UK?

As per the reports, UK MP Priti Patel is expected to lead the Conservative Party and serve as the leader of the opposition. It is said that a few MPs urged her to take up the post and hence she might be in the race.

Priti Patel is of Gujarati origin. Her parents moved to Uganda from here. She earlier worked at the Conservative Central Office. Later she was elected as the MP and became Minister and held various posts.
